If Dalmatians Could Talk

This is an excerpt from a piece called “Animal Tales” by Simon Rich in last week’s New Yorker.  Not much to explain.  Check out the whole piece, it is one of the funniest things I’ve read in a long time.

DALMATIANS

“Hey, look, the truck’s stopping.”

“Did they take us to the park this time?”

“No—it’s a fire. Another horrible fire.”

“What the hell is wrong with these people?”
